Chiang Mai weather is typically more hot and dry than in some other Thailand regions. With only minimal rainfall usually experienced during its wet season in August and September. April to May is the most humid time to be staying in Chiang Mai, when temperatures reach what is sometimes an unbearable peak.
Just like Phuket weather, the best time for you to visit is from November to February when there is a nice cool breeze in the air that leaves temperatures low enough that you can enjoy all the Chiang Mai attractions you visit without soaking in sweat.
